J Dillas anniversary is coming up Feb 10 (Feb 7, 1974 – Feb 10, 2006). It's only right that i release a beat which resembles something that of a Dilla beat. What made J Dillas beats unique and original was the way his drums were. If you ask anyone they're going to say the groove and the way he placed his drums. They were unique and he could truly call them his own. The swing of a dilla beat was just incredible. They way it would flow and be off beat but still on beat when you nod your head along to his songs. Premature snares and off beat claps and eratic hi hats. Enjoy the madness.
